We perform the necessary testing and imaging here in our office, communicate directly with the surgeon on your behalf, and manage your recovery after the procedure. LASIK Consultations and Follow-Up
Dr. Hamilton directed pre- and post-LASIK care at the Dishler Laser Institute in Denver, one of the most respected LASIK centers in the region, before founding her own practices. That background means LASIK co-management is not a service we offer on the side; it is clinical work she has done at a high volume for years.
During a LASIK consultation, we evaluate your corneal thickness, corneal curvature (topography), pupil size, dry eye status, and refractive prescription. These measurements help us determine whether you are a strong candidate and whether a surface treatment like PRK may be safer for your corneas.
If you are a good candidate and choose to proceed, we coordinate your referral to a Colorado LASIK surgeon and remain your point of contact throughout recovery.
Premium Cataract and IOL Options
Cataract surgery is one of the most common and successful procedures performed today, so if it is in your future, you are in good company. When the time comes, the lens implant you choose affects your vision quality and how much you rely on glasses afterward. Standard monofocal lenses correct for one focal distance, so you will still need reading glasses. Premium lens options change that equation.
We help you understand the full range of intraocular lens (IOL) technology available, including:
- Monofocal IOLs: the standard covered by most insurance plans; clear distance vision, reading glasses still needed.
- Toric IOLs: designed to correct astigmatism at the time of surgery, reducing dependence on glasses for distance.
- Multifocal and extended depth-of-focus (EDOF) IOLs: premium lenses that let some patients see clearly at multiple distances, reducing the need for both distance and reading glasses.
