What Ocular Surface Monitoring Involves
We start with a baseline exam before or early in your treatment, then check your cornea and tear film on a schedule that matches your therapy.
Using gentle imaging and the Oculus Keratograph, we track changes over time and step in before small problems grow. To keep you comfortable, we may recommend preservative-free artificial tears, prescription drops, or punctal plugs that hold your natural tears on the eye. Every visit is unhurried, because the last thing you need is to feel rushed.

Cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and radiation can affect the eyes in a variety of ways. Let us know right away if you notice any of the following during or after treatment:
