Dr. Lisa Hamilton, OD
About Dr. Hamilton
Patients come to Dr. Lisa Hamilton when dry eye or glaucoma has been brushed aside somewhere else. She has spent much of her career treating the front of the eye, and she is known for slowing down, listening, and finding the cause other offices miss.
Her path started in LASIK care. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1997, she moved to Denver and served as Center Director at the Dishler Laser Institute from 1999 to 2002, guiding patients through pre- and post-LASIK care. In 2002 she opened her own practice, and dry eye and glaucoma became her focus as she saw how deeply they affect everyday comfort and vision.
Dr. Hamilton pairs advanced imaging with a calm, personal approach, and she has carried that same care abroad on six OneSight missions to Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, Honduras, and South Africa. Outside the clinic, she skis, bikes, and hikes across Colorado with her husband, Bobby.
